Poston Butte FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) had yet another great year in FBLA. They received their 7th consecutive Gold Chapter Award and also sponsored an event, Journalism, where they paid the winner of the event a $100.00!

Students placed in the top 10 in over 11 events at this year’s State Leadership Conference and competed against 2,000 other students.

Poston Butte will be sending 6 students to represent FUSD in the National Leadership Conference held this summer. Congratulations to Marie Edgar, Demetri Dillard, LaShaniece Winfrey, Summer Escobar, Eric Brooks and Analyce Schavio (pictured below).

In addition, Bronco Studios received the Bronze status for their program of work.

  • Adwoa Minta, Bailey Miller, Taitem Petersen and Taylor Smith finished 5th receiving a plaque for their accomplishments.
  • Delano Thomas, Mario Piccirilli and Elias Cabrera placed 4th and will be going to nationals.
